Join us for an hour , a day, or the whole trip. You can hop in and out where you want ride with us or on your own. You have to book your own rooms. And pay for all your own expenses. This is not a guided tour or ride. You are just welcome to ride with us and stay where we stay. Hope to see you along the way.

June 9 and 10 -Meet n' Greet, #1 Nanaimo, BC

Tues June 9. Arrival day. 4 PM. Meet and assemble at Departure Bay beach. 4:45 ride to Smokin George's BBQ for dinner. They close at 7 so if we get there at 5 it should be good. An interesting note about this eatery is it was featured on the tv show “You Gotta Eat Here”. Season 2 Episode 5. And YES Gerry they do have Nanaimo bars.
June 10 Nanaimo, BC
9AM Assemble at Nanaimo tourist booth / rest stop. Nanaimo Parkway and Northfield Rd. Riders safety meeting then KSU at 9:45. Ride to Stanford Seniors Village in Parksville via scenic Nanoose Bay for Show and Shine. I must say they are very excited about us visiting. We can hang out there probably till noon as the residents have to go for their lunch 12:00 noon ride to Pa Pa's burgers in Parksville for lunch. After lunch if anyone is interested Port Alberni is only a half hour ride along a very scenic Hwy 4. Ice cream at Harbour Scoop on the Quay is always a favorite.
Launch dinner on Wed night time and location TBA. It will be at or near the hotel.
I will provide civic addresses for everything so you can program GPS's at a later date.

The plan: greet when you arrive on Sunday June 14. Mingle in briefing room and go for dinner at Wilmie's You Bar and Grill across the parking lot at approx. 7 PM.
June 15 Monday is breakfast at the Ski Hill, leaving the hotel at 8:30 AM, riding together if you want. Followed by a tour at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Royal Canadian Air Force’s largest and busiest fighter base, hopefully with an aircraft display but not confirmed yet. Also, lunch at the Officers Mess to enjoy military food. (approx. $11).
Afternoon is either golf (maybe best ball tournament) or suggesting a visit to our Air Force museum.($ 6.50). The golf course is on the base and has rentals, no strict dress code. Will book tee time for those interested.
Monday night dinner at the Legion with Steak, Potatoes, Salad and Corn on a Cob for $25. (will need number of people as soon as possible).

Next Morning 18th he will escort us on a ride to the geographical center of Canada which is just a few km east of Winnipeg, on our route. We will get a group photo with our banner there and then we are off to Kakabeca Falls, Ont. for the night.

Some of us are arriving on Jun 21 and on Jun 22 we may go for a ride up the Bruce peninsula and back.
You are welcome to join (weather permitting). On Jun 23 we will be heading to CSM member place. About 1.5- 2 hr ride. Our plan is to arrive at Ron Hellman’s beautiful park like property on a lake. There we will have a barbecue and possibly a ride on pontoon boats on the lake, note the boat thing is a maybe at this point, but ride and barbecue is on.
